BMW Interior Clip Parts
BMW has founded themselves on their fascination with quality and smooth designs through the brand’s history, all the while pushing its challengers to keep up with their advanced vehicles. BMW is part of Germany’s big three of auto builders, along side Audi and Mercedes. Their reliability is famous and follows into their products, especially their interior clip parts and components. Taking out the interior trim on your BMW can be done with a couple of basic tools and a set of Torx wrenches. There are numerous parts of the interior trim, but chiefly you will be taking off the trim on the dash and the trim on each door. The process should take a about an hour or so. Occasionally the interior trim parts can scratch up, so be cautious with them when putting them on the ground after you take them off. When taking out your BMW’s trim on both sides of the shift boot to unclip it from the trim around the shifter you need to use a Phillips head screwdriver. Unscrew and take out the two screws at the base of the shifter, below the shift boot, and face the rear of your BMW. If you have questions about BMW’s interior clip parts or components, the FCP Euro team and website are here for any encouragement.

Grab ahold of the trim around your BMW’s shifter and lift it up, then pull it back to release it. Take off the window switches by unclipping them from below the trim. Wrap a soft cloth around the tip of your flathead screwdriver and put it between the glove box and the dash trim on your passenger side, then meddle the trim up. Make sure that you wrap the screwdriver in the cloth or you chance scraping and harming the trim. Take off the dash trim above the radio by grabbing it from the passenger side end and pulling it straight out. Cover the flathead screwdriver with the cloth again and meddle off the part of trim that sits to the left of the steering wheel on top of the headlight switch. When putting in the new trim, glide the new shifter trim piece over the shifter and snap it into place. Install the Phillips head screws at the base and then snap the shift boot back into the shifter trim. Place the glove box trim on top of the glove box and snap it into by operating from the passenger side end to the driver side. Glide the radio trim above into the dash and push it into the dashboard until it clicks into place.
