Audi Engine Filter Parts
Audi has positioned its central hub and production facilities in Bavaria, Germany. Before the company designed and started to manufacture some of the most sought after luxury performance vehicles in the auto industry, they were built upon a sprawling past of forward thinking ideas that helped to transform the auto market. Audi’s famous four ringed logo was created to represent their advanced engineering. Their prominent brand motto, "Progress Through Technology", still rings true and continues to be their philosophy that pushes their expansion throughout Audi’s vehicle and product catalog, and more specifically, engine filter parts and components. Audi makes sure to continue to inspire their team and through intuitive engineering and superior designs that are one with their reputation and brand name. Audi manufactures numerous types of vehicles, but the role of the fuel filter and the procedure in replacing it is the same no matter which model you have. Your fuel filter separates the contaminants from the fuel prior to it reaching the carburetor, where it is blended in with the air. Not similar to other vehicle brands, the Audi fuel filter is positioned on top of your fuel tank. This location does make the procedure a bit more complicated, but it is no doubt an undemanding procedure that should only take about 30 minutes or so. First, make sure your Audi is turned off and cooled down, then pull up the emergency brake. Lift your Audi from the back passenger side and place the chassis on the jack stand for safety. Push the floor jack to be positioned beneath your fuel tank, and then slacken the four bolts that are holding the fuel tank using your socket wrench. Lift up the floor jack to about five inches under the fuel tank and take out the four bolts. Lower the fuel tank onto your floor jack. FCP Euro has wide ranging inventory of Audi engine filter parts and components, including all basic parts for the Audi brand.

Take away the bolt that secures your Audi’s fuel filter strap to the fuel filter and fuel tank, and then slacken the strap. Put a drip pan under the fuel filter and place some disposable towels around it. Remove the banjo bolts that secure the fuel tubes to the fuel filter with your socket wrench and let the fuel drip into the pan. Pull out the fuel filter from its strap. Put in the replacement fuel filter into the strap with the bolt you took out of it earlier. Connect the two fuel tubes and raise the fuel tank into position. Make sure it is secure using the four bolts and then put down your vehicle.
